ଭାରତୀୟ ନୌସେନା ଦେଶର ସମୁଦ୍ର ସୀମାକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥାଏ। ନୌସେନାରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଯୁବକ-ଯୁବତୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗର୍ବର ବିଷୟ। ଏବେ ନୌସେନା ବିଭାଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା SSC (Short Service Commission) ଅଧିକାରୀ ପଦବୀ ପାଇଁ 260 ଟି ଖାଲି ସ୍ଥାନ ପୂରଣ କରିବାକୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି।
