The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for the post of Junior Associates (Clerk – Customer Support & Sales) in Clerical Cadre. This is your chance to work in India's most prestigious public sector bank—apply for vacancies in your preferred State or Union Territory. Candidates can apply for only one State/UT and must be proficient in the specified local language.

Note: Final year/semester students are also eligible, but must have passed and possess final degree proof by 31 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education (as on 31.12.2025)

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Final year students eligible if proof of graduation by 31 Dec 2025
  • Integrated dual degree holders: IDD pass date on or before 31 Dec 2025
  • Matriculate ex-servicemen (with 15+ years service) eligible

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025)

  • 20–28 years (born between 2 April 1997 and 1 April 2005)
  • OBC: +3 years, SC/ST: +5 years, PwBD: Gen/EWS +10, OBC +13, SC/ST +15
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service years + 3 years (8 years for SC/ST DXSM, max 50 years)
  • Widows/divorced: up to 35/38/40 years
  • Trained SBI Apprentice: Gen/EWS +1, OBC +4, SC/ST +6 years (see PDF for all relaxations)

Local Language

You must know how to read, write, speak, and understand the specified local language of the State/UT chosen, and may have to appear for qualifying test after the main exam (unless you studied the language at 10th/12th level).

Local Language Test
